Our Staff Members
The staff at Friendship Hwy 50 has spent many years commited to Christian service. Our staff enjoys serving our community, whether in sharing our faith or just lending a helping hand. Here are a few of Friendship Hwy 50's staff members, starting with Dr. Rodney Harrison: |
Dr. Rodney Harrison (Pastor) 
Pastor Rod has been a church planter and missionary for twenty-six years. He also serves as a professor of Missions and Education at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His wife Julie is an archaeologist, and they have three grown children. Rod loves motorcycles, old (and fast) cars and target shooting. Pastor Rod is getting ready to lead another study tour and mission trip to Europe. If interested in Reformation studies, or doing mission work among the hard-core postmodernist in Dresden, mark your calendar for June 18-July 3 (Reformation Tour) and July 4-11 (Dresden). |

Brian & Cassandra Hornsby (Minister of Students and Youth)
Bryan, along with his wife, Cassandra, provides leadership and pastoral care and oversight of the student ministry, youth ministry and pre-teen groups. Bryan holds the Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree and is a graduate of the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg. Bryan and Cassandra have two children, Alex and Chloe. On occasion, Bryan plays guitar for the FBC praise team, and is a guitarist for a local Christian band. |

Greg Ballowe (Associate Pastor)
Greg provides oversight to the outreach, visitation and mission-ministries of Friendship Baptist. A retired rural carrier, Greg is currently working on his graduate degree at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Greg and his wife Carla enjoy motorcycles, outdoor activities and sports of all kinds. |

Kathy Smith (Pianist/keyboard)
Kathy is our church pianist and treasurer. She and her husband Wayne are involved in farming and grand-parenting in addition to volunteering their time and talents to Friendship Church. |

Aaron McGowen (General Ministry)
Aaron serves as the janitor, and leads a skateboard ministry & outreach. Aaron is our worship team drummer as well as a student at UMC, Warrensburg. |
